If you wait for the spring sale (last year it started March 11th) Pro version should cost you around 25-30$, and you can always upgrade your licence later. While CSP EX is definitely the most comfortable option with line extracting tools, CSP Pro is completely fine too, and not as expensive. A friend of mine mentioned some time ago they have a limit of 50 layers in Procreate? I'm not sure if CSP has a limit but it's definitely more than 50, I like to create every panel in separate folder, with subfolders for every major element, which means a hella lot of layers. It has everything, it's easy to use, speech bubbles are way better than what I could create in PS, just one click for action lines, plus so many great assets and helpful tools. That's probably the reason why I fell in love with CSP. Sometimes with Krita in between, cause I found it the best for making action lines. Before buying CSP, I used to rotate between Sai for drawing and Photoshop for bubbles, lettering and final touches.
